Russian to Anger

There are obvious deep and angry divisions in American Society. Your Uncle Fred wants to put Hillary Clinton in prison. A coworker thinks anyone who eats a hamburger is an accessory to murder. Your neighbor is deeply suspicious of immigrants.

But where do these extreme attitudes come from? Does the decline of the "Gatekeepers" (this term will be explained) have anything to do with this? And is there a systematic campaign by the Russians (or others) to support extreme ideas designed to destabilize American society? NPR reports.
