TiVo Tallies

So, just how detailed should the TV ratings get? After all, many people channel surf, especially when the ads come on. This National Public Radio story discusses a pilot project between TiVo and NBC whereby viewership numbers will be provided on a second-by-second basis, and they'll know when you're fast-forwarding through the commercials.
