Are Funerals Free Speech Forums?
The far edge of the First Amendment is often defined by people with disturbing messages. If these messages have social or political content, they are often protected. An exception, however, is invasion of privacy. In a case now before the U.S. Supreme Court, the issue is whether an anti-gay religious group can picket the funerals of dead soldiers. NPR reports.
