Ethnic Media Still Thriving

Recession has taken a toll on nearly all media outlets, but ethnic media seems to have weathered the downturn in the economy better than most. The following National Public Radio story outlines some of the reasons why ethnic media seem to be muddling through. MC101 students felt that greater scope of coverage and creating a sense of community were keys to these media outlets maintaining their audiences and profits.

Me and my parents listen to Radio Korea. It gives us information from Korean perspectives. Also in Korean News paper there is a job section which provides jobs in korean community. My parents are not fluent in Korean therefore we they can search for jobs in Korean newspaper.
